Soul Spark: Your Passion is Your Purpose
Love like life flows through the heart. Feel the thrill of the flow and say nothing. - Rumi
This idea of finding your purpose can feel overwhelming, can't it? I mean, finding that one thing that gives meaning to your existence on earth? Damn. That's heavy.
But I'm here to gently remind you that your purpose can actually be a light load. Your purpose is connected to what comes easy to you, and what brings you energy. In human terms, we call this energy our passion. And if this topic of passion also feels loaded, don't worry; I've got your back. See the prompts below.
I'm sharing this with you today because I know you're ready for it. You've done such great work, and I can feel how much you want to serve life. And this is the fun part. That thing you love doing, or that thing you find yourself daydreaming about, is how you're already serving life. You may not have realized it yet.
It's you serving life because it's you being your true self. It's you listening to me! And that's all you're meant to do here on earth.
So if you need a bit of support finding your passion so you can live your purpose, here are a few prompts to help you:
What makes your blood boil with anger? What solution do you see in relation to this issue? Start here. What can you learn more about it? What skills can you start learning to help you be a participating member of the team that helps counteract this upsetting issue?
What brings you great joy, peace, or flow? Make a list and leave nothing off of it. It could be finding the best cat videos on YouTube, or cooking your family's favorite meal. Maybe it's jogging or maybe it's reading. It might even be teaching or simply learning. It could be a mixture of all of the above! Dig in and discover. Once you find your thing (or things), don't stop there. Other than doing the thing, what else can you do with it? Who can you share it with? Where can you learn more about it? Is there a club of people (online or offline) who like this too? What can you create so more people enjoy this thing you enjoy so much?
Happy to light your fire,
